| First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville supports various gobal mission efforts, including: |
- One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS)
- OGHS offerings are received during the Lenten/Easter season and are distributed to these mission agencies:
- Self-Development of People: directly assists impoverished or challenged groups of people with projects of their own design which they believe will improve their situations/standards of living
- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance: assists those caught in events such as hurricanes, earthquakes, widespread fire, etc.
 Presbyterian Hunger Program: works to alleviate the root causes of hunge and poverty; provides emergency short-term food supplies and assistance
- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance's urgent needs, such as those stemming from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and the recent Asian earthquakes
